Woman, her daughter and an Italian student were held during this incident in September 25th, 2014

A man was trialed on Friday at the Criminal Court of Justice; for robbery at the Bayside Post office in Sutton and false imprisonment of 1 woman and 2 girls in Malahide, from their home few hours passed midnight of September 25th, 2014.
He was charged with False imprisonment of 1 woman and 2 girls, at their home, unlawfully possession of vehicle, and the robbery at the Bayside Post office.
A witness Susan Lawlor has come forward in the case after traces of her DNA was found in her Nissan Qashqai car.
Abduction
During the trial Susan Lawlor described she and the other 2 girls were abducted by 2 masked men few hours passed midnight and were taken to different locations before the robbery at the post office.
Susan Lawlor said these men tied her and the other girls with cable ties during and pushed them into her Nissan Qashqai car, although there were later joined by another man which she named “number 3” and presumed to be younger.
Ms Lawlor told the court on their way to the post office her phone rang, She said the man which she named “Guy 2” was freaked when her phone rang and asked her “who the fuck is calling you” and the other masked man which she name “Number 1” demanded to know if she had called someone previously which she denied and her daughter suggested it could be their neighbor to ease the situation.
Ms Lawlor told the Court that “Number 2” put tape over her eyes so she couldn’t see clearly but was able to see some things below her eyes.
“I was fearful for my life as their had threatened to shoot if I don’t comply with them, their had also threaten to hurt my daughter and the Italian student if I do not give them the necessary information.” She revealed.

Ms Lawlor said “Number 2” asked her the code of the alarm, lock to the safe box and about the keys. She told the jury she had to comply with them and give them the password to the safe and showed them the key to the locks because she had been beaten by “Number 1”.
Traces
She told the Court how she had spat in the backseat of the car and took out a strand from her hair as traces for evidence.
Ms Lawlor said at 8am the men opened the safe box, and took all the money from the top safe, she told the Court she gave them the bag to put the money because she knew the money was traceable notes.
She said as soon as she noticed the men had left, she pressed the panic button, rang the Gardai, and also rang the girl at the local restaurant. She told the Court that it has the girl from the local restaurant that helped released them because there were still tied.
The man is under custody ahead of sentencing and ordered to appear again at the Criminal Court of Justice again on October 21st for trial by Judge Melanie Greally.
